Introduction AQLUX develops, manufactures and distributes high-quality sanitary products, smart toilets, shower toilets, concealed cistern systems and other bathroom-related products. Many AQLUX products contain mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and sensor-based components and therefore represent technically advanced systems whose proper operation depends on a variety of external factors. These Warranty Terms and Conditions define the scope of warranty coverage provided by AQLUX as well as the requirements, limitations and exclusions applicable to warranty claims. Nothing in these Warranty Terms shall limit any mandatory legal rights granted under the laws of the Republic of Kosovo. 2. Scope of Application These Warranty Terms apply to all current and future AQLUX products. This includes, but is not limited to: • Smart Toilets • Shower Toilets • Electronic WC Systems • Toilet Seats • Concealed Cisterns • Sanitary Ceramics • Bathroom Faucets • Wash Basins • Shower Systems • Mirrors • Mirror Cabinets • Bathroom Furniture • Electronic Bathroom Products • Smart Home Bathroom Products • Spare Parts • Accessories These Warranty Terms shall automatically apply to future product categories, technologies, services and product developments introduced by AQLUX. 3. Territorial Scope The AQLUX warranty is primarily intended for products sold, installed and operated within the Republic of Kosovo. Products sold, installed or operated outside the Republic of Kosovo may be subject to di"erent technical, legal and infrastructural conditions. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, AQLUX is under no obligation to provide warranty services outside Kosovo. Any transportation costs, customs charges, import duties, export duties, taxes or other expenses relating to international warranty claims shall be borne by the customer. 4. Warranty Coverage The warranty covers only proven defects in materials, manufacturing or production that existed at the time the product was delivered. A warranty claim exists only if the reported defect can be directly attributed to a manufacturing, construction or material defect. Not every malfunction, performance issue or operational limitation constitutes a warranty case. In particular, failures resulting from external influences, operating conditions, installation errors, maintenance deficiencies or circumstances beyond the control of AQLUX shall not be considered manufacturing defects. In the event of a valid warranty claim, AQLUX shall have the sole discretion to determine the appropriate remedy. AQLUX may choose to: • repair the product, • replace individual components, • install equivalent replacement parts, • provide a replacement product, • implement another technically appropriate solution. The customer has no right to demand a specific remedy. 5. Requirements for Warranty Claims Warranty claims may only be submitted if the customer can provide proof of lawful purchase. AQLUX may request: • original invoice, • proof of purchase, • delivery documents, • serial number, • photographs, • videos, • installation records, • maintenance records, • additional technical information. The customer is required to cooperate fully in the investigation of the reported issue. If the customer fails to provide the requested information, AQLUX may reject or suspend the warranty claim. 6. Responsibilities of the Owner and Operator The customer, owner, operator or user of the product is responsible for ensuring proper operation of the product. This includes, but is not limited to: • reading and following the user manual, • complying with installation instructions, • following maintenance requirements, • carrying out cleaning procedures, • performing descaling measures, • using the product only for its intended purpose, • reporting defects without delay. AQLUX shall not be responsible for damages arising from the failure to comply with these obligations. 7. Technical Characteristics of Smart Toilets and Electronic Sanitary Products Smart toilets and electronic sanitary products contain numerous precision-engineered components. These may include: • sensors, • control units, • heating systems, • valves, • solenoid valves, • nozzles, • pumps, • water distribution systems, • electronic modules, • safety systems. The performance and lifespan of these components depend on various factors beyond the control of AQLUX. These factors include: • water quality, • water hardness, • electrical supply quality, • installation quality, • maintenance practices, • environmental conditions. Any malfunction caused by such external factors shall generally not be considered a manufacturing defect. 8. Water Quality and Operating Conditions AQLUX products are designed for operation with technically suitable water supplies. Water quality may vary significantly depending on region, building condition and water supplier. AQLUX has no control over local water conditions and therefore accepts no responsibility for damages, failures or performance limitations caused directly or indirectly by water quality. The operator is responsible for ensuring that the water supply is suitable for the operation of the product. Where necessary, the operator should install appropriate filtration, treatment or water-softening systems. 9. Limescale and Water Hardness Limescale formation is a natural consequence of certain water conditions and does not constitute a manufacturing or material defect. Depending on local water hardness, mineral deposits may accumulate within water-carrying components and a"ect product performance. This may a"ect: • spray nozzles, • valves, • solenoid valves, • heating systems, • instant water heaters, • sensors, • water pipes, • water distributors. Possible consequences include: • reduced water pressure, • uneven water flow, • temperature fluctuations, • partial blockages, • complete obstructions, • malfunction of individual components, • system errors. Such conditions do not constitute manufacturing defects. Damage or malfunction resulting from limescale deposits is expressly excluded from warranty coverage. The operator is responsible for performing regular descaling procedures appropriate to local water conditions. 10. Water Contamination and Foreign Particles AQLUX does not provide warranty coverage for damages caused by contaminants within the water supply system. This includes, but is not limited to: • rust particles, • sand, • sediment, • sludge, • metal particles, • mineral debris, • installation residues, • foreign objects, • pipeline deposits, • other contaminants. Such substances may cause blockages, damage or malfunctions within water-carrying components. Any damage resulting from these causes shall not be covered under warranty. The operator is responsible for maintaining the plumbing system and implementing appropriate protective measures where necessary. 11. Water Quality Notice AQLUX strongly recommends regular monitoring of water quality and strict compliance with all maintenance requirements. In areas with medium or high water hardness, AQLUX recommends the installation of suitable filtration or water treatment systems. The performance and service life of electronic sanitary products depend significantly on water quality, maintenance, installation quality and proper operation. Damage resulting from the failure to follow these recommendations is not the responsibility of AQLUX. WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS AQLUX L.L.C. E\"ective Date: June 2026 PART B Maintenance, Electrical Systems, Installation and Warranty Exclusions 12. Maintenance Obligations AQLUX products are advanced sanitary systems designed for long-term use. Their performance, reliability and service life depend on regular maintenance, cleaning and proper care. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by: • acidic cleaning products, • chlorine-based products, • highly alkaline cleaners, • solvents, • aggressive chemicals, • abrasive products, • industrial cleaning agents, • non-approved descaling solutions. The selection and use of cleaning products remains the sole responsibility of the operator. 15. Electrical Supply and Power Connections Electronic AQLUX products require a stable and properly installed electrical supply. The customer and the installer are responsible for ensuring that all electrical connections comply with applicable technical standards and installation requirements. AQLUX shall not be responsible for damage caused by defects within the electrical infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to: • faulty electrical connections, • unsuitable sockets, • missing grounding, • inadequate circuit protection, • defective wiring, • non-compliant electrical installations, • damaged cables, • improper power sources. Such damage does not constitute a manufacturing defect. 16.
